The Crystal (LA Story)

This is a crazy story & another one about someone trying to get in where they think they fit in.

I was at work, at my lil retail gig and this lady walks up to the counter and says that she is clairvoyant and that she can tell I am going through some things, I shouldn't be at that job because I'm better than that and that my face is supposed to be well known. She said there are some other things that she would like to tell me. She gave me her card and asked me to come down to her shop and get my free palm reading. I know spiritual energy is real and she did touch on somethings that made me think maybe going to see her wouldn't be a complete waste of time.

A couple days later I made the appointment and went to her shop. She read my Palm, said some things that I've heard before & then asked me to pick a crystal. I picked a heart shaped one and she stated as long as I had the crystal I will start feeling better. I know that these sessions aren't often free so what she said next shouldn't have surprised me. It did however because she straight came at my neck. As I sat there and held the crystal in my hand this woman stared me in the eyes and said,

"I usually charge $15,000 for these but I'm going to charge you $9,000."

I politely grabbed her hand to return the crystal, and stated

"I'm sorry I do not have that kind of money. I appreciate the fact that you thought I did; but I don't."

She moved her hand and told me to keep the crystal and that we would work out a payment plan. I then stated that there is no amount of payment plan in the world that I would be able to get on to pay that to her & that my husband definitely wouldn't be with it at all. Then this woman said,

"ya know what I have an idea, why don't you just let me get some stuff from where you work at for free."

"I'm like I can't do that", she's like

"yes you can."

I looked at her like she was crazy and left her shop, not realizing I still had the crystal.

This wild woman came to my job with her teenage children and expected me to just fill her bag at the register. I politely told her no and she looked at me and said yes u can with a reassuring smile. I told wild woman no again & she pleaded

"please it's for my son for his birthday."

"I said no this is my job!"

she huffed & puffed and left. I've been carrying this crystal in my pocket everyday to give it back to her wild ass the next time I see her, I didn't have it the day she came.

Crazy part is I haven't seen her since & no the crystal didn't work I still feel the same 😂

Surviving LA part II

As the LA housing search continues...      We found ourselves on the streets & out of money for a couple weeks due to the Beverly Hills swindle & the cost of staying in hotels. On day one on the streets, we both worked a night shift and spent the day sleeping in our storage unit, Day 2 was the Santa Monica/Venice beach night, sleeping in our tent & fighting a serious wind till the morning. On day 3 we fought with the wind again more severe in our tent at the Venice Graffiti walls on the beach & lost. We dramatically packed up fighting the wind the whole way & ended up camping not too far away in Penmar park. The good thing about this was that they had a bathroom available.       The hauk was out too that night it was so cold, I thought I was gonna die from hypothermia. I don't even know how I made it through the night. All I know is that I was not prepared for this! The universe carried me into day 4 & we both again worked the night shift. I worked from 10
