Joe      There are many ways to get scammed in this world especially if you are desperate, it's sad but yup it's easy to get got! Hubby & I had just moved from Santa Monica to midtown California. We were staying with one of hubby's other friends who just happened to be on section 8, so if course he was nervous about us being there too long. He let us stay for two months, November till January.      The whole time we were there we were looking for a place, I mean at this point we could've rented a room for all I cared & that's just what we found a room with our own bathroom and a pretty fresh patio, the tub in the bathroom tho, now that, that was a confusing lil set up. The spot was located at the bottom of Beverly hills for $2200 a month. The woman we met sd that she would take our money in payments of $800 to move in on 12/31/22 $300 on 1/06/23 $800 on 1/15/23 & $300 on 1/30/23 to cover the first month.      It was extremely expensive but we took it b
