In journaling the 90 day go hard workout I realized I should follow-up with a reflection, because there was a lot going on in that 90 days and I think it's interesting to see what developed. The idea for journaling the 90 days came from the fact that for one reason or another we weren't consistent the first time we tried. This being the second time we tried I wanted to keep up with it to see what the reason was for the lost of focus.
Week 1: The beginning of the journey we were supposed 2 go hard working out for 90 days. I really don't even want to tell you how we stayed consistent for a week😒 During week 2 the best way I can explain what happened is to say that we allowed ourselves to be emotionally side tracked, for two entirely different reasons. We were not on the same page at all, I am going to blame the fact that we didn't plan out our move to California. My mental health just caused us to run away from Philadelphia, to put it lightly because the walls were closing in on me, it was the husband that suggested LA!
Week 3: Things got crazier someone stole my $3,000 e-bike which was on loan for $85 a month and was never supposed to be outside, I only had it two months. I think the drug addicts we were living with had something to do with it. Hubby's bike was stolen like two weeks after we moved to Santa Monica. It wasn't as salty when they took his because the motor was broken and we hadn't ridden it, in a few months anyway.
Week 4: During this week I took two weeks off work 2 support my husband in the selling of his art. It was really fun but we didn't have a way to get our stuff to and from the beach without an 1hour and a half walk from Santa Monica to Venice pulling a heavy cart in the beating sun. So we again weren't consistent and something had 2 change.
Week 5: I took my ass back 2 work, selling art will be my side hustle. We made money but not enough 2 pay a rent or mortgage. It is a good hustle and I will be able 2 see what it's like this summer for a full spring/summer/fall because we have a storage unit that is a few blocks from Venice Beach so it's much easier for us 2 transport our goods.
Week 6 & 7: In these two weeks we were told we had to move from the room we were staying in 2 the garage. Due to the son of the person we were staying with coming back. It was a two week lapse in rent because we stopped working to sell art and that didn't work out right. I thought it was because of that, I then found out that they expected us to pay $1,200 a month for renting the garage. I figured since this was my husbands family when they did that they were expecting us to leave. So I told my husband I wasn't paying that much for a garage with no privacy and a bunch of stuff in it. So I would be saving my money for a security deposit. He was to let his "family" know this. Meanwhile I made a list of all the possibilities that were in my path.
