Virginia, Virginia, Virginia oh how I love this state. I've been to amusement parks here, we'll talk about those in another post. Virginia Beach was amazing! I hung out on the beach, the boardwalk blocks, My lil homie & I took the lil trolley it was so cute, we went to the Speedway to race cars, it's the biggest one they have, they also had 8 different race tracks. We went to a comedy club called the Funny Bone it was a nice place & a good show. I took my first family vacation in Virginia too, with my mom & brothers, other parts of our family went as well. My best friend and I drove to Assateague Island to go see the wild horses for her birthday. We took a boat to the wild horse Island we couldn't go on it but we sat in the water and watched them it was so beautiful. We also saw the dolphins in the water they put on a pretty good show for our boat ride. Here is a link to a short video...

I saved New York for last because I have way too much to say about this city. The first time I ever visited I was in 8th grade, we were on our graduation trip. We saw the Broadway show CATS, awwww man was that a great show! They even interacted with the audience! When I was 16 My Grandmother rented a travel bus and some family and friends rode along. We went shopping, I mean shopping, shopping all over Manhattan, the best place was Canal Street it was full of vendors selling their art. It was a sight for my eyes for the first time so many different things to buy. I remember have $56 and spending it well.
I traveled with Reithoffer Shows Carnival which brought me to the city of FreePort NY it was pretty cool there. I remember a store having some good chicken, rice and beans. My son spent 3 weeks in NY for his 16th birthday he was in photography school. I stayed the night in Manhattan because I was nervous to leave him in a city alone. Lol the next day I got over it and left. I spent my 6 month wedding anniversary there in Brooklyn they have some bomb ass weed, we went to the Central Park Zoo, hung out in Prospect park & another time we went we saw a comedy show in Brooklyn at Tiny Cupboard that was a good time.
I was apart of an organization called Act-Up Philadelphia and had the chance to protest against condoms being illegal if you can believe that! That protest took us to marching across the Brooklyn Bridge and a concert where the artist Cassidy preformed, his subject was safe sex. My best friend & I went to NY for a New Years experience of a life time! We partied until 6am which was unusual for me at that time, two different clubs one I remember being Webster's Hall. We also went another time to visit The Statue of Liberty we took the Ferry to Ellis Island then a water taxi back it was a lot of fun. During the Pandemic I also visited Coney Island the amusement park was closed but I was able to take advantage to the beach.
Next up; Darby PA, Altoona PA, & Harrisburg PA
