Food Fun Part 4

 Wellness over Illness

Eat Well 2 Live Well

And were back with Food fun Part 4 Let's journey into what Jodie's eating now...

I threw it down on this one! This is Lentil beans, rice, fried brussel sprouts & fried sweet potatoes😁

These Cupcakes were being given out on Venice Beach to Promote Hulu's new show This Fool! The Cupcake was delicious & the show isn't bad either😊

Ok so I kinda burnt the Black bean burgers😅 They were still very good, paired with avocado & sun dried tomatos. The sweet potato fries set it off tho.

Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the coffee shop this bagel came from👀 It was great and I've been dreaming about another one since I ate it about a week ago! It is a plain bagel with cream cheese, avocado, tomato and some kind of Lemon Pepper. I took a bite & sd lord I have to blog about this.

This restaurant is located a bit off of Venice Beach. It's called Modern Mexican. I walked in and was introduced to this bowl. Grilled Pineapple, Guacamole, Black beans, Rice, & sliced onion. Absolutely delectable!

We'll end this one with the Turmeric Latte. It speaks for itself a healthy beem of spice for the immune system.

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Finding Self PT 10 (Watch Me Flow)

After the injury everything changed. Being laid up like that with no help. I had to hobble to the market only to be ran over by crowds of people that I couldn't keep up with. Being left by the Lyft because the driver couldn't figure out how to come around the corner. Just feeling helpless, abandoned and stranded. Feelings like this will put things in a different perspective really fast. Some people out there have major support and people around to help when things get tough and some people simply just don't. For me I'm one of the one's that don't but I find that strangers are always kinder to me than my own family who is by society's standards supposed to be our first safety net & supporters.       N-E-how being laid up like that and alone I had more uninterrupted time to think than I ever did in my life. Self reflection questions that I never even thought of started to pop into my mind. The first one was career wise. The question was ...
